Hello, I'm DJ pterry dactyl. July 22nd, 2023 was my first time as a Wedding Ceremony DJ and a Wedding Reception DJ/MC. I was confident because I was prepared. In retrospect, I felt like I did a really good job for my first time out. I sincerely had a wonderful time doing it! Being able to play instant requests was particularly satisfying. I truly enjoyed myself, watching everyone smiling and dancing. At the end of the evening, I realized that being a DJ is something I really truly enjoyed, and I would like to do it more in the future.

How I came up with the name DJ pterry dactyl: A friend of mine, Emma, is now almost ten. Unaware of Pee Wee Herman's Pteri Dactyl, she owns a stuffed Pterodactyl named Terry. It was her, and her mother that suggested my DJ name. As an aside, Emma was a flower girl in the wedding. It was an honor to play her song requests at the reception.

Every DJ has to start somewhere. As you read this, I have done exactly one event as a DJ/MC. But, I want to do more events. This website is a work in progress, with the hope that I may land more DJ gigs!

As I mentioned, my DJ/MC Past Events currently consists of just one event. A Wedding Ceremony and Reception on July 22, 2023. I consider it the catalyst into another profession that I enjoy doing. I'll eventually make connections with wedding planners and audio service companies. This company, JBQAV, provided the audio systems for the wedding I DJayed and Emceed. Wanted to give the company, and the owner Jaron, a shout out.

My website banner on this page was made before our beloved Paul Rubins (Pee Wee Herman) passed away. I purchased the Pteri and Conky toys in early July 2023, took photos of them and put them in my banner. So, it really was an homage to him, even before he passed.
